So who’s this “Richard Powell” guy anyway?

I’m an artist. I’m a writer. I’m a sculptor. I’m a programmer. I’m a 3D artist and animator, and I’m a gamer. But above all, I’m a storyteller.

I guess you can say that I’m the standard “jack of all trades.” I enjoy creativity in many forms, and I seek to pursue different avenues as I discover them. I’m doing my best to carve a living out of this creativity, as I’ve pursued careers in both tabletop and electronic game development as well as writing. Seeing as you probably have no idea who I am… yeah, I’m still working on that.

Rusted is a pet project of mine, an original story told in web comic form. It serves two purposes:

1. To entertain the audience, which I hope it will succeed in doing, and
2. To allow me to practice the craft of visual storytelling.

I will warn you that reason #2 may cause some experimentation and evolution in my overall style. I hope you don’t mind the changes that occur as I grow, and that you stick with me throughout this journey.
